Several elements for using oil purifier safely

Before operating the oil purifier, the operator shall carefully read the instructions, and must be familiar with the operation methods of the oil purifier; operate in strict accordance with the operation sequence of the instructions, and the following are the major requirements for safe use of the oil purifier:

1. In use, check the oil pipe joints and valves of the oil purifier equipment frequently for blockage and oil leakage. In case of any fault, shut down the equipment immediately for inspection and treatment. Anti static grounding measures shall be taken for the metal pipes of the oil purifier machine and oil system.

2、 When operating on site, the oil purifier should be close to the transformer or oil tank as much as possible.

3. The connecting pipes (including oil tank) must be thoroughly cleaned in advance and have good sealing performance.

4. Strictly follow the operation procedure. When starting the oil purifier, the oil can only be recycled after the vacuum pump, oil pump and heater operate normally and ensure the internal circulation is good.

5. The purified oil contains a lot of mechanical impurities and free water. The water and impurities at the bottom shall be removed in advance, and then other purifier equipment (such as centrifugal oil purifier and pressure oil purifier) shall be used to fully purifier to meet the crude oil standard required by the vacuum oil purifier, and then the vacuum oil purifier can be used for filtering to affect the service life of the oil purifier.

6. During operation, the working condition of the oil purifier (such as vacuum, flow, temperature, etc.) shall be strictly monitored, and the quality (breakdown voltage, etc.) before and after oil treatment shall be regularly detected to monitor the purification effect of the oil purifier.

7. Insulation measures shall be taken for pipeline, vacuum tank and other components during winter operation, and relevant regulations in safety work regulations of electric power industry issued by electric power industry shall also be observed during oil filtering of substation.

8.  At the end of oil purifier work, the power supply or main power supply shall be cut off and the site shall be cleaned.
