Usually, the transformer oil is installed in the oil tank and is in some contact with the air through the respirator. When the transformer is powered on and running, due to the oxygen in the air, the high temperature caused by the loss of electric energy, and the close contact between the transformer oil and metal, the hydrocarbons in the oil are oxidized, decomposed, or polymerized to form impurities such as acids, resins, asphalt, coke, etc., gradually deteriorating the oil quality of the transformer oil; The acid value rises, the water content increases, and the electrical withstand voltage decreases. If it is not treated in time and the quality of transformer oil is properly improved, it will increasingly seriously affect the continuous safe operation of the transformer.

Handling system of tools used：

1. All appliances used in regenerating transformer oil should be cleaned with tap water, washed with boiling water or steam water, and then dried for standby.

2. The workshop for regenerating transformer oil should be kept tidy and clean, and the dust should be thoroughly cleaned before work. When working, the room temperature should be kept at about 20 ℃ as far as possible. The regeneration of transformer oil should be carried out on sunny days in spring and autumn as far as possible.

3. The staff should do a good job in personal hygiene: cut off the nails that stretch out of the ends of their fingers, wash their hands, wear clean labor protection appliances, and do not carry small metal parts or other small items irrelevant to regeneration work in their pockets.

Smoking or open flames are not allowed during the whole work process.

4. If the polluted transformer oil needs to be recycled, it can be used after being filtered by a two-stage vacuum oil purifier machine. Generally, the cleanliness and viscosity of the oil filtered by the equipment can meet the new oil standard.
